COVID Protocol

Dear Friends of Tryon Concert Association,

Unfortunately, Covid-19 has again reared its ugly head in our area to troublesome levels. As Tryon Concert Association continues to pursue its goal of keeping our cherished subscribers safe, we are informing you of actions taken by our board to address these concerns. These actions are effective immediately and will be in place for both fall concerts (October 21 and November 11). We will continue to monitor the situation and will let you know what policies will be in place for concerts scheduled for 2022.

Enhanced cleaning by the Tryon Fine Arts Center

Tryon Fine Arts Center has been outfitted with the Pure and Clean air purifier system which the venue assures provides the ultimate air protection for the space with both air and surface purification. Pure and Clean has been proven to reduce 99.96% of airborne SARS-CoV-2 viral particles (the virus that causes Covid-19) within 3 minutes.

Hand sanitation stations will be available for your use in the lobby.

Reduced Capacity and Social Distancing

Seating at Tryon Arts Center will be at 50% capacity for the October 21 and November 11 concerts.

We ask that all in attendance maintain a social distance from other subscribers when possible while in lines and otherwise moving about.

Face Masks

Face masks are strongly encouraged for all our subscribers attending concerts.

Disposable face masks will be available upon request.

Face masks will be worn by all staff and volunteers assisting with the concert.

Vaccinations, etc.

Tryon Concert Association strongly encourages full Covid-19 vaccination before attending our concerts.

If you are feeling ill before a concert, or know you have been recently exposed to any persons who have tested positive for Covid-19 or have been exposed themselves, we respectfully request that you stay home and not come to the concert.

Finally, we thank you for your understanding and sincerely hope these restrictions can be loosened or eliminated for our spring concerts. Because seating will be at half capacity for at least the first two concerts, we urge you to order your subscription as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment.

Here’s to our long-awaited return to the stage!

Kymric Mahnke, President
